I've been up late doing some heavy duty study work on VAXing and this is making me sick what I have found. Basicly I went to the truth of the matter... The ingredients they list for the immunizations, and here is what I've found.

Hep B immunization:
http://www.appco.com.au/appguide/dru...00098654&t=cmi

Ingredients

The active ingredients of Infanrix HepB are non-infectious substances from tetanus, diphtheria bacteria, purified proteins of pertussis bacteria, and the surface protein of the hepatitis B virus (HBsAg, derived from genetically engineered yeast cells). The vaccine cannot cause these diseases. Each 0.5mL dose contains:

• 25Lf U of diphtheria toxoid
• 10Lf U of tetanus toxoid
• 25mcg of pertussis toxoid, 25mcg of filamentous haemagglutinin and 8mcg of 69 kilodalton outer membrane protein (pertactin)
• 10mcg of recombinant HBsAg protein.

The inactive ingredients in the vaccine are: aluminium hydroxide, aluminium phosphate, 2-phenoxyethanol, polysorbate 80, sodium chloride (salt) and water.

The manufacture of this product includes exposure to bovine derived materials. No evidence exists that any case of vCJD (considered to be the human form of bovine spongiform encephalopathy) has resulted from the administration of any vaccine product.

DTaP immunization:
http://www.daptacel.com/support_file...TACEL%20PI.pdf

The ingredients are at the bottom right hand side.

Rota immunization:
http://www.merck.com/product/usa/pi_...otateq_ppi.pdf

The ingredients are at the bottom.

IPV immunization:
http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/polio.htm

For each lot of IPOL vaccine, D-antigen content is determined in vitro using the D-antigen ELISA assay and immunogenicity is determined by in vivo testing in animals. IPOL vaccine is produced from vaccine concentrates diluted with M-199 medium. Also present are 0.5% of 2-phenoxyethanol and a maximum of 0.02% of formaldehyde per dose as preservatives. Neomycin, streptomycin and polymyxin B are used in vaccine production, and although purification procedures eliminate measurable amounts, less than 5 ng neomycin, 200 ng streptomycin and 25 ng polymyxin B per dose may still be present. The residual calf serum protein is less than 1 ppm in the final vaccine.

Ok so looking at the ingredients, just seeing bovine in the ingredient list makes me sick... But here is the real kickers.

Now what about the ones they don't list? I mean if they will list these and full well knowing that they can be toxic, especially since the person recieving them is so small that even these little amounts can seriously harm them. Why would they be doing this to children?

Very good question!

Do you mind if I copy and paste your post into an email to my sister(she's on the fence about vaxing her ds2)?

Yeah anyone that wants to copy this to show someone be my guest. People really need to know what the ingredients are in these vaxs.

Another note is that I realize people don't know they have a choice. My friend just saw in a local free paper that she gets an ad about vaxing saying it is madatory for kids going into school. Mandatory???? Since when? I'm almost wondering if the person who placed the ad could get in trouble for lying, but then again I'm sure there is some clause. :

Alright I've done more studying and found more exact info on the vaccines themselves. These are the most used vax companies in the USA.

GlaxoSmithKline makes several vaccines for children all of their ingredients are listed at the begining of their PDF files. For reference and other vaccines here is their specific vaccine website.
http://www.gsk.com/products/vaccines/us/vaccines-us.htm

Boostrix: TDaP
http://us.gsk.com/products/assets/us_boostrix.pdf

Engerix-B: Hepatitis B (Recombinant)
http://us.gsk.com/products/assets/us_engerixb.pdf

Ok I'm updating as I find this info online...

Wyeth, another company that makes vaccines. Here is there product list.
http://www.wyeth.com/products

HibTITER®: Haemophilus b Conjugate Vaccine (Diphtheria CRM197 Protein Conjugate) (Note: I could not find a complete defined ingredients list, although if it is complete it's at the top of the page from what I could tell.)
http://www.wyeth.com/content/showlabeling.asp?id=105

Prevnar®: Pneumococcal 7-valent Conjugate Vaccine (Diphtheria CRM197 Protein) (Note: Yet again it seems it's not completely defined, but may be the entire ingredient list at the top of the first page.)
http://www.wyeth.com/content/showlabeling.asp?id=134

Ugh... The more I learn the more mad I get at how bad vaxing really is and how unknowingly parents just lead their kids to a proverbial slaughter.

This is the CDC site on Prevention and Control of Influenza
http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/rr5208a1.htm

If you go down a bit to "Inactivated Influenza Vaccine Composition" that is the list of main ingredients used in this vaccine according to the CDC. Which may prove that if you read the ingredient list by pharma companies they may be leaving things out.

Quote:

The vaccine is made from highly purified, egg-grown viruses that have been made noninfectious (i.e., inactivated or killed) (58). Subvirion and purified surface antigen preparations are available. Because the vaccine viruses are initially grown in embryonated hens' eggs, the vaccine might contain limited amounts of residual egg protein.

Ok so someone allergic to eggs this can be bad, right? Well this made me think of other ingredients that are listed in vaxs that have been "purified" out. If egg protein can slip through "purifying" then those toxic ones can slip through too!!! :

Quote:

Inactivated influenza vaccine distributed in the United States might also contain thimerosal, a mercury-containing compound, as the preservative (59,60). Thimerosal has been used as a preservative in vaccines since the 1930s. Although no evidence of harm caused by low levels of thimerosal in vaccines has been reported, in 1999, the U.S. Public Health Service and other organizations recommended that efforts be made to reduce the thimerosal content in vaccines to decrease total mercury exposure, chiefly among infants and pregnant woman (59,61). Since mid-2001, routinely administered, noninfluenza childhood vaccines for the U.S. market have been manufactured either without or with only trace amounts of thimerosal to provide a substantial reduction in the total mercury exposure from vaccines for children (62).

Ok so the word might doesn't reasure me very much... So there is a chance that they're putting Thimerosal in the vax, but because it's so "low" the pharma companies don't have to tell us?
I've heard our president actually passed something that allows them to do this, but then again it might be the rumor mill... But if anyone can clear that up by posting a link that would be great.

Well off to do more research. : So I may be posting more... I really hope this helps someone who doesn't have time to research this stuff.

Not to defend vaxing, just want to defend the peds I've known and liked. I was allergic to chicken growing up and thus my ped as a child never recommended the flu vaccine. Even specifically spelling out to my parents and in my chart to not get it. This continued even after I was no longer allergic to chickens. Most peds I've encountered are aware of possible allergy problems with vaxes such as this one.

Well I just found that Merck kinda hides stuff on there pages by making things for "doctors only" and they actually have more vaxs than I thought... They just don't have a "patient product pdf file" on them.

Here is the doctor's list of medicines on Merck's webpage. Thanks for the info, although I am aware that for the most part peds do know this and will inform their patients. I was just making reference to the fact that if egg protein can slip through so can those toxic chemicals they use to make the vaccine. Sorry if I didn't seem clear on my intention with the comment.

Because children don't have a "voice". And most parents don't know any better.

Yep. That word "mandatory" is fudged a little... because exemptions are available in most states. Funny isn't it? :

FYI,
The concentration of antibiotics in vaccines are in the ng range with is 1/1,000,000,000 of a gram. The typical dose of these antibiotics to treat an ear infection in a child is then several billion times the amount in a vaccine.
Schering-Plough does not make human vaccines and this is a link for their hepatitis treatments.

The MSDS sheets should assist you with determining the lethal doses of some constituents in laboratory animals versus what are in vaccines.

[ Boric acid, sodium borate, and sodium perborate are estimated to have a fatal dose from 0.1 to 0.5g/kg. These substances are toxic to all cells, and have a slow excretion rate through the kidneys. Kidney toxicity is the greatest, with liver fatty degeneration, cerebral edema, and gastroenteritis. Boric acid solutions used as an eye wash or on abraded skin are known to be especially toxic to infants, especially after repeated use because of its slow elimination rate. ]
