I'm about to start charting as a form of birth control and I'm just curious: if you're sick, say with a fever or something, won't that increase your basal body temperature? I just want to get that base covered before I start temping. We're not TTC right now, but I am just so darn sick of hormonal birth control and what it does to my appetite (increases it) and my moods (I'm bipolar and it makes those mood swings even worse than they are). I've tried so many pill forms of birth control, the IUD (ouch), the ring (eh), the patch (started making my skin react badly)... and I'd rather just do it *naturally*.
