Imagine that you could change the way you look now to the way you looked when (for example) you were 17 years old or 25 years old or 30 years old, etc. It is not the "face and wrinkles" that you are "changing", it is more about how your whole body looked, your overall weight, shape, etc.

So, if you were to choose the perfect "body/shape" age for yourself, what would it be?

By the way, since the majority of people here are under the age of 35 years old, my poll would concentrate on "body/shape wishes" under that age.

Ooops, I forgot the "other" option. I guess, the "other" would be for people who love the way they look now more than the way they looked in the past...or maybe they love their body all the way regardless of how it changed over their life. Anyway, if you fall under "other", please explain.

I would love to be in the shape I was in when I was 16. I took a weight training class in high school for 2 or 3 hours a day and I was in such good shape. After I'm done having kids and breastfeeding, I'm soo going to start exercising and eating better to look good and feel good about my body agian.
I'm 22, but people think I'm much younger. When dd was little, we always got "Is she yours? But you're so young" comments. Now she calls me "Mama" .

ahhh if i could have the wisdom i have now (to appreiciate the body) i would have to be anywhere from 16-20. I had a smokin hot bod and thought i looked aweful. I was 38dd, 25, 34. I was so muscular and strong. I could still do handsprings easily. I also had the time to do 1-3 hours per day of dance, gymnastics etc.

I'd say either 21-22, or 28-29. After my first miscarriage (I was 29), I stopped doing weights, and my entire workout regime became erratic. These days, I'm still carrying the weight I acquired during the last couple of years of my first marriage, and I don't like what the c-sections have done to my midsection. However, once I'm done having babies (6 months, more or less), I'm going to really get focussed on getting back in shape. I never had the fashionable kind of body, but I loved it when I was in shape and doing yoga, weights and aerobics every day.

I looked my best, physique-wise, when I was in the military and lived in the barracks in the middle of godforsaken ******* nowhere with NOTHING to do except run track and trails, go to the gym, hike through the woods...

I ate next to nothing, because it was pointless to cook for one and there was nowhere appealing for eating out.

So I had a great body. But I dressed like a total schlub and had no interest in things like hairstyling or makeup, so it really didn't show to its greatest advantage.

Appearance-wise, I'd say I look my best now. I don't have the firm little body I had back then, but I'm much better at dressing myself decently. And I've learned to have fun with girly stuff like makeup, etc.

I looked my best when I was around 30. I hadn't had any kids yet, and I was at a really good place in my life. I went to the gym every day, had a personal trainer, was able to spend lots of time cooking yummy, healthy, gourmet fare, loved my job, was in love, had great hair, etc.

Now I'm still happy and love my life, but 3 kids, no gym, and no time to cook has really taken a toll on my body.

When I was around 18, I was thin but not too thin and boney like I was when I was younger. I was fit and trim. Now I'm a little squishy...but I have boobs now, which I never had before

My favorite shape of "me" was when I was 19, about 6 months after having my first child. But I think I'm a lot prettier now as far as hair and face go. :

I was in the best shape of my life, and had never yet smoked a cigarette.

I am 5'6" and I weighed around 150-160 pounds at that time. I was very athletic, loved riding my bicycle, didn't drive a car, didn't even have a license until I was 28, and I just really miss being so healthy.
