Would you mind reassuring me that there's only one in there?
How did you "know?" What made you suspect that there were two? Here are my concerns:
1) My uterus has popped up above my pubic bone already. (I'll be five weeks on Saturday!!) This happened two days ago! I'm kind of hoping that it just slipped into a funny place after the c-section with Bella. Still, it just seems *ridiculously* early.
2) I can't tolerate simple carbs except for Tang. I can barely tolerate more complex carbs. The only things that I can eat without feeling horribly, horribly ill are protien, fat, water, and the aforementioned Tang. During the other two pregnancies in which I had morning sickness, I could always eat Cream of Wheat or mashed potatos; they were bland and easy to keep down. This time the mere idea of them turns my tummy, and I'm the kind of person who could normally eat CoW any time of day and in any kind of weather.
3) This pregnancy was seriously unplanned. As in, we were planning to get the husband snipped by the end of the year. And for some reason, when you're not planning things to happen, they tend to happen a lot...
The other symptoms don't concern me; I had them in one pregnancy or another (very early morning sickness, aversions/cravings, etc). It's really those three that make me just the teensiest bit paranoid that there might be two in there. So please, if you were sure you were having twins but it turned out that you *weren't*, post and make me feel better! I'm really, really scared by the idea of having two right now...
