I just had to post b/c I cannot believe it! When I first found out I was having twins I would worry about them coming too early or having major problems, that I would be put on bedrest, have to be hospitalized (no mat. insurance, this was a HUGE worry), and all the other worries that come w/ pregnancy. Now I"m 34 weeks and so much of my fears are gone! I feel better than I have since the middle of October! Seriously! I am doing great, I've not had any medical issues at all and the only thing that's been 'wrong' with me is that I pulled a muscle in my leg several weeks ago and for a while I could barely walk, but now it's all healed up and I feel great! Of course I am more tired, and Saturday I had a bit of cx coming a bit too close together for quite a while, but it resolved itself. The reason 34 weeks is such a big goal to me is that my local hospital can now take care of my babies even if they have a little bit of trouble in the beginning. It's a small hosptial that can't take care of preemies, but normally after 34 weeks they can treat anything that happens! The closest NICU is 3 hours away, and the thought of having to go there always made me sick, now that worry is pretty much gone!

So, I had a NST yesterday that went great, but since I had the cx. issues on Saturday they went ahead and did my GBS test and checked me just to note where I am at incase I have other cx episodes, they will know where I"m 'starting' from. I'm not planning to have another check next week, it was just b/c of the cx., but I am 1cm dilated and 'squishy/soft', which is pretty normal for this point, especially w/ having twins, but of course means nothing in reality Babies could come at any time, or not until their EDD! My OB always reminds me that it means nothing Baby A is definately head down, so we are on for a vag. birth. So, babies and I are doing great! I really think they will be here in about 2 weeks b/c my body is changing so much lately. My hips spread again (relaxin! maybe that's why I can walk so great now?), I feel really nesty, like I cannot rest even when I'm really tired, I just feel my hormones changing. I don't feel birth will happen in the next week, but I do hink it will be within 2-3 weeks. I have an US next week for one final growth check, and from this point on it's just whenever my body decides to get things going! They will no longer stop labor if it happens! I can't believe I"m to this point already!!!

Wow, I am so happy for you! I was hoping things would go well and that you'd get them nice and big before they are born! How awesome! Keep up the good work (relaxing probably!).

Yeah great for you! A woman I know was worried that she would have preemies ( the doc prepped her on that for months) She proved them all wrong by getting to term and having a 9lbs and 7lb boy and girl! How wonderful to not have to worry they won't be ready. They will be perfect and plump!
