Just wanted to share:

I occasionally look after a very precocious five-year-old, Alex - he is a joy Yesterday his mother called me to ask me if I could sit for them on Friday night, and then she said, "Oh, I have a new Alex story for you.":

He was in the bathutub the other night and just started to laugh. "You know, Mom," he said, "sometimes, when I'm laughing, people think I'm just kidding, but you know what? I'm a happy boy. I have a good family, and I'm rich!" (They had just counted out the contents of his piggy bank - $10.32, LOL)

I'm really looking forward to Friday

I had a great time last night. Since I sat for him last, Alex has discovered the great truth that we should all try very hard to love one another - even "bad guys", he says. He told me, wide-eyed and troubled, that "very far away" people are fighting and hurting each other, instead of loving, and that this makes him sad. "Why do they keep fighting?"

He says to me, "Everybody has a little bit of love in them. Even bad guys. Because bad guys love other bad guys. And good guys love good guys. It's that simple."
