Well even at 22 months, I just dumped a kidney bean/sweet pea/corn-on-the-cob mess out of a diaper. I would never ever feed her that combo on purpose, but we were at a potluck BBQ and that is what she picked. If someone knows.....really when do they start digesting this stuff?!?!? I found rice in her dipe last week.....surely she should be able to digest that by now?

Somehow, when we were making the decision to cd, I wasn't contemplating picking grape skins and orange membranes out of the washing machine. I still would have decided to cd, but it would have been nice to be expecting it. I thought there was some weird orange spider in there after he had oranges for the first time! :LOL

I almost forgot ds's crowning achievement in this arena. It's not exactly a healthy food choice, but it does go along with the "surprises in the diaper" theme. He went through a phase where he liked to play with waterbottles, and within that, there was a subphase of liking to chew on them and pull off the labels. One day I found a still legible piece of Poland Springs label in his diaper.

These will all be good stories when they're teenagers and we're making "small talk" with their girl/boyfriends...

:LOL Now that's being realistic and making the best of a bad situation! Printed red ones might be okay, though. I mean, what're the chances that an internal bleed would end up looking like a repeating pattern of candy canes?
