A co-worker of mine is newly pregnant. She told me that she went to medical today and they asked her if she was planning on breastfeeding... and then said, "oh, wait... you work with Kanga, well then you'll HAVE to breastfeed"
We were both a little surprised that they made it sound like I was pushy about it, since I'm always hyper careful to point out that I think that people should do what's best for their situation... related to any parenting issue (breastfeeding, co-sleeping, CIO, vac, etc...) If someone asks I argue the pros of what I do passionately... but I'm also happy that I'm becoming known as the resident brestfeeding advocate.
