What is one thing I should not forget to say about lactation consultants? Any interesting/useful facts any of you have? The project is mainly about how to become a lactation consultant, what the work entails, etc, but I can put related info on the poster too (about breastfeeding...). This is kind of a weird request, so I'm not expecting much. :LOL At the same time, you are a bunch of smart thinking mamas and always come up with something. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

Once you are IBLC certified you have to have continuing education to keep your certification. It can be hard to find ways to meet the continuing education requirement. You may have to travel and it can be quite expensive.
