Ok... it is like 800 degrees here today. it sucks and I am fat and hot. I lived in Houston with my last pregnancy and I wasn't this hot! Kansas has such humidity. GRRR!

So i was at a playdate today and it was from 10-12. I must have not eaten/drank enough because on the way home in the car I got hot, naseous and almost passed out. Luckly my friend was driving. We pulled over and I had a snack for my daughter which I ate...then started feeling better. It was scary. I never had this happen this far along in pregnancy before. It happened during the first few months last time, probably my blood sugar. I don't have GD...but I am prone to Hypoglycemic episode when pregnant.

Ugh- that sounds terrible. Make sure you stay hydrated in the heat as well. With my first, at 32 weeks- I actually got such a bad sideache while doing some grocery shopping, the air was out at my office, I hadn't drank nearly enough water on that hot day...ended up at the ER with preterm labor which luckily was stopped after about 6 hours- pretty scary! So keep hydrated and keep eating- especially in the heat- you don't want an early baby...think of how hot it will be nursing the little one...keep 'em in there!

I noticed our 2 babes are pretty close together (DD born 8/13/03 (she was due 8/20)...this one is due 8/30 but will most likely be a week or so early like
his sis...)

That's not pleasant.
s Hope you feel better! I had that yesterday after my son's b-day party. After working 2 - 7 hour days cleaning on my feet, I came home Saturday and had to clean house and cook (ended up spending almost 14 hours on my feet). Didn't get to bed until after midnight, got up the next morning early to clean some more and get the party ready. It was the hottest day we've had yet and our humidity is horrible too. After the party was over, I almost passed out on the couch. I couldn't even get up to get a drink or anything. I had Nathan pop in a movie and just tried to stay awake. After about 1-1/2 hours, I was able to get up by rolling off the couch and working onto hands and knees. Got a big drink and went swimming. Dang heat--with the humidity it is even hard to breath!
