Ds "found" his penis in the last month or so and is very interested in it. Every time that diaper comes off, down goes one or both hands immediately. My little man

He enjoys it so much that we've been trying to give him lots of nakie-time to get acquainted with himself.

I've never been around little boys, so this is all new to me. I guess this is just the beginning, eh?

Hehe, yep they do that. DS especially does that while nursing. The way he grabs and pulls and yanks, ouch! But it must not hurt although it looks like it.

Sometimes it interferes with nighttime EC though, one time he peed right on his hand, and a couple other times I was trying to remove his hand so I could try and get him to pee and he got MAD!

My DS is now 7 months and does the same thing.

I actually cringe watching him as it looks like it would hurt! I guess it can't hurt to much if he keeps doing it.

My dd starting do the same thing about three weeks ago(she is one day younger than your ds). Soon as the diaper came off down went her hand. I think she is bored with it now because she has stopped.

My little guy too. I agree that what he does looks downright painful, but he never complains or looks uncomfortable.

It gets better! lol My youngest has recently discovered his... When the diaper comes off his hand shoots down there.. So I give him a wipe and he "helps me" ... My oldest just takes his clothes off to play with his

I love the way DS looks at me when he has it like,

"Hey, did you guys know this was down here! Awesome!"

Of course, he gets the same look when he has his toes, or his ear, etc...

Pretty much....my nearly 6 yr old is still at it!

But yeah, it's hilarious when they first "discover" themselves, isn't it? I was changing my nephew the other day (he just turned 1), and I could not get his hand out of there long enough to get the diaper back on. So I just fastened it around his hand. He looked so betrayed when it restricted his range of motion, poor little fella.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Yes.

evey diaper change, every bath -- for what 16 months now (he is 19 month, maybe more like 17 months) -- it is a race, the diapers moves and he is THERE. and GRINNING like an old lost buddy has returned.

i am nopt waiting for the day he "realizes: that Mr Penis is there under the diaper all the time ...l a time or two i thought he "got it" but he has yet to act on it,..... as i know he will.

dh winces when he pulls on it -- but i assume if it hurt he'd not do it -- still bothers DH.
