i had an ultrasound this afternoon. it's a great relief to finally have an answer. we're pretty shaken up about this, but it wasn't a surprise. over the last week, i began to feel very deeply that something was wrong and that this pregnancy was not viable. sometimes you just know.

and now i wait.

i wish you all fantastic and uncomplicated pregnancies! my little guy was born in december of 05 and i found it such a lovely, magical time to birth a baby. . .

I am so sad! I was just scanning the thread topics & got to yours & had to groan & whine out loud. I'm really very sorry, April. That sucks. But I am so glad that you were finally able to see someone & get an answer to your questions & fears. Geeez, what a bummer. Whatever you do, don't blame yourself! OK?? Big fat hugs to you. I'm so sorry you lost your baby. Really & truly.

(i just wanted to mention to others, after reading over my post, that i brought up her feeling maybe somehow to blame due to a conversation we had IRL. i wouldn't otherwise just say that to someone suffering a loss.)
