Okay, so I don't know if we're having a girl or a boy, but boys' names come easily to meand I need help with the girl's. I have a first name in mind, and it seems to go with a middle name that has two syllables and an accent on the second one. The only names I can think of are Marie and Nicole, both of which are out for us. If you know of others with 2 syllables, please share! (Don't be fooled by my 2 examples- they need not be traditonal.)

See, it's hard to come up with ones that have the second syllable stressed. Most of the names you all have suggested (many of which I love) have the accent on the first syllable. That is to say, you emphasize the first, or say it a little stronger, than the second. Maybe my request is too picky? I do think Danielle is a pretty one...
The first name is Amelia, but I'm toying with possibly spelling it Emilia because I know and Amelia and people call her Amy- I'd rather have the nickname be Emmy. Thanks for the suggestions! Any more ideas?

edited to add: Oooh, I just saw Selene. I also like that one!

I myself am partial to Danielle - if you read my signature line, you'll know why. I wanted to use Rae-anne for my one on the way, but dh didn't like it. I think it's pretty...
