Please tell me I'm not alone!
I'm totally obsessed with cleaning, organising the house, beautifying the gardens...
I have totally cleaned out the basement. It looked like we were a family of hoarders before I started. (We've lived here 7 years and things were still in boxes and heaped up) It's a thing of beauty now!

I have spent 800.00 on plants for the new gardens (we just had hardscaping done) All of it is planted and I'm itching to go back and buy more.
And yesterday, I finished replacing the old bark chips with new cocoa mulch.

I've swept out the garage....twice

I've washed all the windows. Inside AND out.

I actually washed the garage door/front door/pillars. (landscapers left dust covering everything)

All my kitchen cupboards have been cleaned out and redone.

All the knocked up paint on the walls has been touched up

I have seeded and reseeded the front yard
I water it twice a day and watch it

I have started cutting the grass the minute I think it is too long. I've NEVER cut the grass before and had to have the neighbor show me how to get the mower started. All while DH was at work.

I have organised all the instruction books from our appliances etc and placed them in an alphabetical box.

Oh please, I can't stop!
DH is LOVING this nesting stage-because it means stuff gets done and he doesn't have to do it.
But COME ON already! I'm almost out of things to do-and my neighbor's husband is just as compulsive as I am right now-so there's nuthin to do at their house.

AAAARGH!

Gosh I wish I had your energy. I'm the opposite extreme- feeling very tired and lazy...looking around at all the things I should doing. Feel like coming to stay for a few weeks:)

Do you enjoy cooking? I think if I had all your energy, I would start freezing meals for after baby comes.

That's so fantastic - just reading your list of acomplishments has motivated me to get to work on some things I've been thinking about. I thought my nesting instinct had kicked in, but yours sounds like it has a life of its own. Good luck finding your next project!

You go, Mama! If I didn't work full time I would definitely find a full-time schedule of work to do at home (Lord knows there's plenty of work to be done!)! I'm sooooo jealous---all of the stuff you've done needs to take place at my house but with the many graduations, weddings, birthdays, holidays and the multitudes of maternity related appointments I've had to do on my time "off" recently, I barely have time to eat, sleep and shop for the next gift-buying occasion before it's time for bed...domestic tasks have had to take a back-burner! All your hard work will pay off when you can relax and enjoy that sweet baby when it arrives since there won't be much more to do at that point around your house (and whatever there is to do should be endebted to you by your hubster since you gave him the summer off :) . My poor, droughted, weedy vegetable and flower garden is sooo envious of your lush gardens and lawn :) !!

I will just live vicariously through you from my couch. I would love to have even an ounce of energy to do the things that need to get done around here. I am still throwing up every day and feeling pretty bad a lot of the time so it just isn't in me. I do have a list though.

PLEASE COME TO MY HOUSE!!! We just moved and usually I am such a great unpacker but some of the new things aren't put together yet for storage and I can't sit on the floor long enough to do it so Dh said he would do it but it isn't done yet....

I skipped the nesting stage last time too...wanted it toooo much....

I don't have a single urge to clean or get things ready right now.....my energy is in the negative stage right now and dipping further into it as I type this......it's all I can do to get up and pee....

I was doing that a little over a week ago. It felt great! I love a clean house, I just don't usually have one. I figure if I get everything organized, it will be easier to keep things clean.

I started getting tired, though, and getting lots of Braxton-Hicks contractions when I work too much. It made me think I needed to rest.

You'll stop when you need to.

No, not really nesting in that way yet. I am wanting to make and sew things though. But I still don't often have the energy. I wish I did. I got soo much done last pregnancy. I wish I was doing that again. Your house and yard are going to be clean and beautiful. Good for yoU!!

Yup, nesting like a mad woman. Getting lots done but resenting "wasted energy" like laundry and dishes. I just can't walk out the door without putting all the laundry away. Drives me nuts. Doesn't leave enough time for more concrete accomplishments. I am also resenting the total lack of money to spend on projects I want to do.

Glad I'm not the only one. I've felt rather jipped this pregnancy. I totally missed the "horny" phase, the nesting phase, and the second trimester energy boost (well, it happened but not until month 6 was nearly done). All I really want to do is nap.

I'm in this boat with you....nap city baby.....if only i could nap...my brain wont stop with all the things that need done....I missed all the phases with my first too....it's not fair..I wanna nest more than I wanna unpack all these boxes from the move.....just looking at them exhausts me.....
