I had some very light spotting Sunday night and called my midwife Monday morning and asked her to order an ultrasound for me that day. I was feeling optimistic because I still felt pg and had very strong pg signs up until that point. I was also 10w2d yesterday, with no prior spotting or abnormal cramping.

I saw my baby on the screen....and it was just floating in there. No movement and no heartbeat.

My body is now starting the elimination process and I'm going to just let it happen on its own. My midwife gave me some blue & black cohosh to speed up the process.

Hopefully I can join up here again sometime next year. I wish you all healthy and happy pregnancies!!

With our first baby, we found out at 10w3d that the baby's heartbeat was gone (had seen it at 6w) so I know that horrible feeling of just seeing little baby floating there that you described.
