I'm outgrowing all my pants!

I bought all this stuff at the end of April thinking oh, this will last till about 8 mos and then I'll just wear sarongs after that... but no, all my pants except my two biggest pair are too tight! It's SOOOOOOOOOOOO upsetting. I haven't even gained that much weight and was thinking that it was all belly..Guess I was wrong. Not sure where I'm gonna go from here but the two pair I have left are both XL.. maybe I'll make some sarongs

I don't know if this will make you feel better but some of my pants that didn't fit as a month ago (tight) fit again. I think things have shifted or something...

Honestly, I invested in some plus size comfy cotton pants/capris and have been wearing them and they are much better than my maternity stuff.
You are so not alone!! I am down to two pair of pants as well. I think the sarongs are a great idea

I know how you feel I only have 3 pairs left, but only one pair that I can wear to work. Unfortunately I was plus size before pregnancy and I have been unable to find maternity clothes that are plus size. I can't get bigger plus size pants because they bag and sag in some places and look huge even if they barely fit my waist. My last day of work until we move is July 10th so I guess after then I will be able to wear lounge pants??
I know how you feel! I invested almost $300 on maternity clothes about a month ago and now 2 bottoms (one capri and the other shorts) are starting to get snug. Maybe it's the dryer? lol

I got sick of trying to find comfy kahki pants at Motherhood but I found some comfy khaki colored capris at Avenue (on sale for $12.99), only due to the waist I had to go a size bigger. Today I wore the capris, and felt somewhat like a clown because they did sag and bag in certain areas. I'm hoping they'll last to my due date! Trying to find comfy, quality, decent pricd plus maternity is hard and I'm right on the border of plus and misses (except for my fat thighs
).

I'm wearing my bella band with my maternity pants AGAIN. A few months ago it was to hold them up... (and I wondered why they made them so darn BIG) and now it's 'cause that zipper won't zip! HA. Maternity clothes are a joke. I'm much happier with my elastic and drawstring skirts/pants!
do you sew, have you considered making yourself some fisherman pants? I can post a link to a really simple pattern if you're interested.
I have only tried the department stores and Old Navy. Old Navy was out of their maternity clothes, but I did find some awesome cammo capris that will expand throughout the pregnancy I believe. I am at 5 months and I have them pulled as tight as I can and I still have to pull them up all the time. I was a size 22 before I got pregnant, but I carry my weight pretty well. Doesn't help though when regular maternity only goes to size 18.
I'm so glad to know I'm not alone.I was really feeling like a early bloomer or something.. you think I would know by know as this is my third pg!

Yes, I sew quite a lot, and I have *tons* of fabric to use up, so pass on the website for that pattern and we will try it out! Thanks!
I got some linen capris on sale somewhere (old navy, or motherhood) for $10 and they have been by far my best purchase. They are comfy and roomy! My pants are mostly okay still, I wear the elastic band low on my hips and I buy everything loose anyway. It is the shirts I am popping out of! They are getting too short, and/or my breasts are getting too huge! I could seriously sit around here in my underwear (or not) for the next 4 months!
maternity clothes these days are a joke seriously. this is my 7th pregnancy, 6th birth and the clothes they made 10 years ago for maternity were true to size. now, everything is cut smaller, i swear! this is even true for my 11 year old daughter. she can wear size 12 in vintage stuff but in new styles she is in size 16. it totally is wrong.
I have one pair of maternity pants and one pair of pre-pregnancy pants that still fit. I was wearing some other pre-preg pants with my bella band but that's gotten uncomfortable. I don't want to wear skirts often because of my chub rub on the insides of my thighs, plus I don't like shaving my legs every day. I also don't want to wear capris and shorts. I'm hoping by the time I get really uncomfortable that fall fashion will be in and I'll be able to get long pants again.
Just had share. I wish I could just wear a bikini all the time, or better yet, nothing. I'm tired of clothes pinching me!

I'm so glad I'm not alone! I bought 4 pairs of shorts 2 months ago at Ross and a couple of them are already to tight. I went back yesterday and got another pair of shorts and a pair of capri's

I love skirts but I hate the way it feels when my thighs rub together kwim?

Yay - other mommies with, um, thigh issues! I'm finding only dresses are working at work anymore, but yeah, the thighs... I've outgrown all of my comfy maternity pants. They all cut into my lower belly when I sit down. Even the baby notices - I swear she starts hitting at them where they squish us! I tried to find some new ones over the weekend. I don't know what I'm going to do for 3.5 more months!!! I cannot understand how "under belly" is actually not at all below where my belly starts. It starts like right above my pubic bone basically!

Glad I'm not alone, but it does suck!
