DS won't let me rock him to sleep anymore... or really even hold him at all. He's 11 months and just started walking, but I really really miss holding him!!! He climbs out of the sling, screams in the Moby... I want to have him close (for my sake more than his

) but he seems to be "so over the Mommy thing" as my insensitive mother said.

Any clues? Any carriers that will keep him happy but safe???

I'm just not ready for him to grow up yet.

Awww...that's sad.

On the other hand, you obviously have made him feel so secure and loved and cared for, that now he feels like he can go explore the world and you'll be right there when he needs you.

You should have seen me making the invites for his 1 years party last night... I had to throw away 2 because they got big ol' tearstains on 'em...

Aww, I know how you feel. DD started acting like that as soon as she could crawl. She's really independant. The only time she'll let me hold her is during feedings and when she laying backwards with her head upside down in my lap while I bounce her. They grow up so fast!
