My dh has been sick for the past week. Consequently, I have been taking echinacea, emergenC, and just boosting my immune system any way I can to keep from getting it. Can anyone help me with something I can give to my 13 month old that's safe for her little body and will boost her system (besides mother's milk). I really really don't want her to get sick!

I don't have a lot of time to post, but if you have a chance look into Beta Glucan for yourself, and your dc will get residual through bm. I swear by it. Before, (as a preventative), during (onset, to lessen/hasten symptoms), after (immunity builder). They studies are quite impressive.

If she likes yogurt then that's a good option...or add probiotics to something she already enjoys (our natural food store sells a version just for kids, but dd uses the "adult" version without problems). Make sure she gets enough rest, stays hydrated, nurses as much as possible, and if she eats solids go with whole foods high in C.

hope you all stay healthy!
