i know there might already be a thread about this somewhere but when i searched i didnt find it on here

and sorry if this is slightly TMI

dh and i have been ttc #1 for three months now. i've just started charting so i can't see a real pattern in my temps or anything. i have the TCOYF software and it said i was supposed to ovulate yesterday or the day before. i have been really really achey (probably ovulation pains) for the past two days. What worries me is today it went from achey and twingey to full out crampy. not actual period cramps but rather a more intense/painful twinge. i have had slight pain and swelling pre-ovulation before, but never these kinds of intense twinges. it has only been going on for the past 6 to 8 hours and isn't intense enough for me to think something is really wrong, but i wanted to ask you ladies. i had seen a few places people talking about implantation pains. maybe i am just being a wishful thinker but after 6-8 hours it's been eating at me! haha well thanks in advance! i really appreciate your help and advice!

*and for those who saw my post yesterday or the other day about epo/false unicorn, i decided against (starting it now) because of the risk-advice from MDC ^_^ so that wouldnt be it*

I don't think that it's implantation pains because it can take 5-7 days for the fertilized egg to travel from the uterus to the fallopian tube. I hope that you do get some implantation cramps soon though

I had a quick implantation cramp (felt like a stitch in my uterus) at 6 DPO. It was definitely noticeable, and extremely localized. I think the fertilized egg has to hang out for a while before implanting, while it waits for the uterine lining to build up.
