asking this for someone else: what would cause nausea and vomiting 4-5 dpo, and then cramping on the following days? i think she's around 7 days dpo now and is wondering if it could be implantation? i was thinking it was too early for that. thanks...

Umm... eating something bad? Food poisoning? A stomach virus?
Probably *not* implantation.

take care
that's what i said...she's just started ttc and has been calling me. not sure why because i have absolutely no experience ttc...but anyway, i'll pass it on.

ps, by the tone of your post...sorry if i annoyed you with a dumb question...

Yeah, definitely a bug.

Also, progesterone can do weird things. I know I felt worse and more "pregnant" the non-pregnant cycle before we conceived just from the hormones than the cycle where I actually did conceive and implant.

And don't forget the placebo effect!!
I can't even tell you how many made up pregnancy symptoms there are out there!

One last thing: 4-5 days would be the earliest I ever heard of implantation. I think average is 7-10 days past ovulation, with 6 being considered really early.

Good luck to your friend!!

Sorry if my tone sounded snarky... I was trying to be funny, not rude
:
Sometimes ppl TTC get a little hyper with the "am I pregnant?" questions so early on... but I totally wasn't trying to make anyone feel dumb
