I am looking for overnight and *affordable* summer camps for my kids ages 8-9. In Ohio, somewhere near Cincinnati is as far as I can go, and preferably downstate Indiana.<br><br>
I have tried searching for camps but can only find specific sports camps or prep camps that cost thousands and thousands of dollars a week. I would prefer secular or not religious based (UU would be ok) if possible. It needs to be overnight because I know there are none by us I can drive them to and from every day.<br><br>

DD does Girl Scout camp every year, if you look up Great Rivers Girl Scout council their camp brochure and registration is online. The main camp is in Maineville, not far from Kings Island. It's cheap for Girl Scouts, since DD isn't a scout and hasn't been in years we pay an extra $12 with our camp fees and then get the discount. Makes no sense but there you go. Camp Kern is another Cincinnati-area camp that's pretty reasonable, it's affiliated with the YMCA.<br><br>
