Who is your most favorite or inpirational person in your life. (doesnt have to be famous) For some reason, this is really hard! There are a few, famous people I respect and admire, Maya Angelou for one. As for favorites, I really love DH and DS of course, but I admire a lot of friends too, and other relatives all for different reasons! So it's hard to pinpoint any one!

Have you told your little Will about the new baby, if so how is he reacting to this change. I have told him, as much as he can understand at his age. He found out the same time DH did! (which was minutes after I looked at the test and said "No Sh*%!" LOL I tell Will to talk into my belly button because it's the baby phone and the baby can hear him better. He likes to do that. But he's still not used to not being able to pounce on my belly. I never liked that before but really hate it now!

How and where did you meet your dh? I met DH when he was going to college in my hometown. He was living with a bunch of guys at the time, including my fiance! That marriage was stupid, though, and didn't last long. So DH and I were friends for a few years before we started dating so to speak. What is your favorite and least favorite thing about him?? I love how patient he is, and he is really very sweet and tries to be helpful as much as he can. I dislike that he seems to be kind of a perfectionist when he's really absorbed in something, it can take FOREVER for him to finish it!

what is your favourite meal to cook? and to eat? I really love to cook so this is really hard to pick any one thing! I really love Hungarian food, being half Hungarian, there are dishes I like to cook that I used to eat all the time as a kid. I still enjoy eating them today!

how did you get started with bellydancing? I was working at a big medical center and their health/fitness department had a class. I signed up and the rest was history!

What's your favorite part about pregnancy?
I love that we have created life. The whole miracle of it is really amazing to me, and I doubt I would ever tire of that!

How's the nursing going? It's going pretty well, I am not making hardly any milk anymore but DS wants to keep nursing. I am feeling more confident we'll make it til I have colostrum, and from there we should be home free.

How do you think your son will react to his little sibling?
It will be interesting, I'm not sure what to expect. He's a bit aggressive and a bit of a tank, but it might just be ok anyway! I'm hoping anyway!

where are you from and where are you going? I am from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Where am I going? LOL Nowhere right now! I am guessing we'll stay in Michigan since our families are here, and my mom will continue to be more dependent on me as she gets older. I might want to be a lactation consultant later in life when the kids are grown but that's too far off to tell right now.

how did you spend your summers as a child? Outside! And in the lake. I lived near Lake Superior so we were in it all the time.

where is the most exotic place you have ever been? (it need not be far away) I travelled to Germany in 2001 which was excellent, would love to go back. We went to Tucson AZ the year before and that was really cool, coming from where I've always lived, the desert is really interesting, and beautiful, I think!

OK gotta get the poo-monster to bed, more later!!

Ooh these are fun

Favorite book? album/group?

What is the one piece of baby crap (you know, the stuff everyone thinks you need - crib, bouncer, swing, highchair, baby einstein, paci) that you actually do use?

Do you love belly dancing with a big ol' pregnant belly? Does the dancing make the little one jump? Actually, no! LOL I tried to dance as long as I could my last pg, and I just hurt too much and it was really uncomfortable. So I never danced with a big belly. This time, I seem to be feeling a whole lot better, so I'm definitely going to try! I haven't noticed any change in the baby's movements while dancing but it's still small and I'm bouncing around too much to notice just yet...

Name 5 things you can't live without (besides family).
These aren't in any particular order!
1. The UP, my hometown. I will always go back, and maybe someday even live there again.
2. Air conditioning. This summer, the heat has made me so sick! I just can't tolerate it.
3. Friends. I've got some new friends, and some lifetime friends (our parents knew each other before any had kids) and they are all precious to me.
4. Modern conveniences like washer/dryer, car, indoor plumbing, etc.
5. Phone. I could learn to live without the internet if I had to, but will always have a phone.

What is one life lesson you would like to pass on to your children that your parents didn't teach you? This one is really important to me. My parents divorced when I was young and it was a messy, horrible ordeal that left permanent scars. I want my babies to know that no matter what life brings them, they can always count on having their parents, together, until one of us leaves this earth. I think that kids need that kind of security, and I missed that.

What is your favorite gemstone and why? Emerald, because I love the color and it's my birthstone.

Favorite book? album/group? Again, I enjoy reading so many things and I enjoy so many different types of music, it's really hard to pinpoint just one. Recently I've enjoyed reading all of Bill Bryson's books that I can get my hands on, we've got most of them I think. As for music, wow, I can't even pick my favorite genre. I love most music except for country (well, there are a few songs I can stand...), even opera (I was in one once!)... love Middle Eastern music of course and many others. I really don't have a favorite album at the moment!

What is the one piece of baby crap (you know, the stuff everyone thinks you need - crib, bouncer, swing, highchair, baby einstein, paci) that you actually do use? LOL! Well there are a few. We use the highchair every day, because it's the only way to keep DS focused on eating. We use the stroller all the time too. He hates the crib so it's storing stuff now, he hated the sling, he hated the carrier, the bouncer, the swing... he uses a paci at night though
Heck I've even got a rocking chair/glider that we never used because he didn't like being rocked!! LOL

What is your favorite/least favorite part of living in Michigan? Favorite part, is that at least the Upper Peninsula is just so beautiful. Lots of rocky hillsides, Lake Superior, it's just so quiet and clean, it's really great! Downstate where I live now, it's not so pretty, it's flat and damp and crowded... but you can still find nature not too far away. Least favorite has got to be the long winters... back home it's not unusual to get over 250 inches of snow, and it can go from September to May. Here, it's not so bad in the winter but summers are way too hot and humid for me. Ugh!

What is your favorite thing to do with your son?
I got him a coloring book a while back and I really love to color with him! He goes through the book and finds all the noses and tongues and draws lines through them!

What does your username mean? In 1999 I bought an African Grey parrot. There are two species of them, actually one is a subspecies of the other. There is the Congo grey, that is lighter, has a bright red tail and a black beak. Then, the sub species is the Timneh grey. That one is smaller, darker, has a maroon tail and a pink and gray beak. I was Mom to my Timneh long before I got pregnant, hence timneh mom.

What sports or activities did you do as a kid? I did LOTS of horseback riding! Couldn't get enough of it. We didn't own a horse but I did barn chores where I took lessons and the guy who taught, let me ride for free. It was great fun!

What is your son's favorite toy? Stuff that's not a toy! Seriously! Mainly electronics.

This was fun!
