I've seen variations of this question and suggestions for acheiving it in various posts, so I thought it'd be helpful to have a consolidated thread of "things" that have helped increase cm.

The common ones I've heard/read are:
-Green Tea

-EPO~does anyone have a suggested dose? Right now I'm taking 3,000 mg/day. Should I increase that closer to O?

-Robitussin/Mucinex~Again, dosage suggestion anyone?

-and of course, the ultimate cure-all, WATER, lots and lots of water!!

So, what has helped you and/or what hasn't worked or caused the opposite affect?

I take 2 teaspoons robutussin (generic) in the morning and evening around O time. It helps me a lot. Of course I am still not pregnant

I have read in tcoyf that antbiotics help. I don't remember which one. Let me look it up." Found it Amoxicillin, 500 mg oral, 3 times a day." she also wrote "seems to work the best of all"

My Dr. gave me estrogen this month (took it after the clomid) And I got a little ewcm for the first time! Nothing else has helped me get past wcm.

Thanks for starting this thread Trish!

That is because of the vitamin A I read that in the ccl book.

I second the 'lots of water' advice. If all else fails, DH and I have enjoyed using Pre-Seed.

I have suffered from very little / no CM ever since my DD1 was born. After about 8 months of TTC for #2 I ordered PreSeed. For some reason, that month I also ate a lot of raw carrots (no idea on the effect it has/had on my fertility). We used the PreSeed twice and conceived!

I know I don't belong over here in TTC but wanted to pass along our success with PreSeed, in hopes it can help someone else.

Eww, why does it have to be carrots?! I really don't like carrots-I'd rather eat brocolli over carrots, lol! Maybe I can suck it up and eat some this cycle. I guess it'll be worth it if I get preggo!

There is a product called Fertile Cm. here is some info on it.

Quote:

based on Nobel-prize winning research. It is a supplement designed to increase healthy cervical mucus, support healthy uterine lining for safe implantation and increases libidoand sensitivity during sex. It contains an important amino acid L-Arginine, which promotes the synthesis of Nitric Oxide.

In studies Nitric Oxide was shown to support the production of cervical mucus during ovulation AND aids in implantation by "quieting the uterus" and improved endometrial secretion. The bonus affects of sexual arousal helps to increase the odds of getting pregnant dramatically. The odds of conceiving improve through daily sexual intercourse during the fertile period. In addition there are ingredients that balance the vaginas PH and improve the vaginal "environment". There is plenty of research behind the product. Definitely take if experiencing dryness during your fertile days.
