I was going to post a similar thread myself today. I'll likely O in a day or 2 and while I've seen what is probably EWCM yesterday and today, it's not in abundance the way it was when I was TTC #1.

This cycle, I tried drinking green tea at least 1 time/day since AF ended and also started taking Guaifenesin tablets (same medication that's in plain Robitussin), although not regularly, both of which I've heard help to increase EWCM. Unfortunately, I can't yet say that I've seen much, if any, difference.

If anyone else has other suggestions, I'd love to hear them as well. Otherwise, I'm considering trying Preseed next month, if necessary.

Thanks for all the replies and ideas. I'm thinking about doing green tea and Guaifenesin this coming month. But wanted to see if there were any other ideas.

I tried guaifenesin this cycle...didn't do anything for me. I hear a lot of women have very good results with it though. If this cycle winds up being a bust, I've got EPO and green tea extract in pill form (I *hate* the taste of green tea), in case those don't help enough I've got pre-seed ready to go.
The funny/irritating thing is, before we were TTC I had more than enough good, quality EWCM, now I don't see any... figures eh?
Good luck :

I've had great success with green tea and drinking a ton more water. You should drink more water anyways as a general rule (general you, of course. I drink a ton and I should still drink more).

A bit TMI: I went from almost no EWCM to gobs in one month due to water and green tea.

Ladies, I don't have any sources, but I have read that green tea is no longer recommended while ttc. I believe it is something to do with the green tea leaching folic acid and therefore increasing risk of NTD - I don't have time to google it right now, but it would be worth researching it...

Plain Robitussin (some women also take Mucinex, as it is in pill form) works well, and try increasing your water intake also. Good luck!

But would taking an extra folic acid supplement help? How much tea would cause this? I drink about 2 cups a day on average. And does anyone know if white tea would cause this as well. I'd rather drink tea than take OTC drugs (I know its sounds radical, but I havent had OTC anything other than required prescription drugs in 8 years)

Most of the women here who drink green tea do so from AF to O (or a day or two later) then avoid it after O. That being said I don't think a moderate amount of anything is going to be a terrifyingly bad but moderation is the key. If the rest of your diet is healthy, a little green tea will probably not make a big difference.

This didn't help specifically with EWCM, but I did see an increase. I started drinking one to two cups of the yogi tea, Women's Wellness, containing Dong Quai, and saw three days of EWCM, highly unusual for me!
