I'm looking for some fun places to take my twins who are 2 1/2 years old. I live in Rhode Island and since I've been to all the places in this state I'm looking for places in South Eastern Mass. and nearby Ct. Not far from where we live there is a place called FantasyLand. This is an indoor amusement park with only kiddie rides. It's geared for kids 6 and younger. Ofcourse, we have taken our boys to all of the Children's Museums in New England so I'm not looking for places like those. We used to have a Discovery Zone( a place with lots of tunnels to crawl through) but it closed quite a few years ago. We have a Chuck E Cheese here as well but I'm not really crazy about that place. We often travel to the Natick, Burlington, and Braintree Malls so if there are any toddler friendly places near any of those Malls I'd like to know about them. Thanks!

This isn't SE Mass, but there's a Gymboree in Auburn and a place called Chutes'n'Ladders in Sutton. It shouldn't be any longer than driving to CT from Pawtucket.

You said you live near FantasyLand...that is 1/2 mile from my house.
There is a Gymboree right down Rt 6 from there.

Swansea Mall has a room with a few Little Tikes play things in it, it is kind of lame but I have brought my 2 year old there after shopping to let off some steam.

I used to manage the most awesome indoor child play place that was located in Emerald Square Mall. It closed in 1996 due to mall politics

I'll rack my brain to see if I can think of anymore indoor places.

The place in Waterbury is called Central Park and it's on Central Ave. It's an indoor playplace for kids birth through 5. They're open from 9:30 - 2:30. It's at the back of the Salvation Army building. The Friendly Forest (Family Oriented Recreation Education and Support Tribe ... a natural parenting community) has playsocials there on the last Wednesday of every month.

No help to those in RI ... sorry!

I am looking for another indoor place in CT, though...one that accepts all age kids!

There is a pretty good indoor playspace in Norton, MA, not far from downtown Attleboro. It is called the Ultimate Party and Play Space ( http://www.ultimatepartyandplay.com/ ). It does cost $5 per visit, but it has a lot of different areas to play and climb on. They also have separate areas for little ones so they don't get trampled by the bigger ones.

Good luck!
Thanks for the link to the Play Place in Norton, Ma. I will take a drive over there with the boys for sure. It's not that far from where I live.

Ultimate Party and Play is wonderful! We go often. Try to go at an "off time." The playground is quie small and quite busy.

In Putnam, CT there is a place called Busy Bees (I think). It is Very Large and really like being on an outdoor playground. Really enjoyed it! Only went once because it was a hike.

There is supposed to be a new indoor playground opening in Bellingham. Will keep you posted.

The McDonnald's in Plainville seems fairly clean and is good once and a while.

The Hockomock YMCA in North Attleboro has a great little indoor playspace.

Two good frineds have been trying to open an indoor playground in RI in the Cumberland/Lincoln area. Rents and insurance are sky high, so they are not hopeful that it will get off the ground.

Have fun playing!
