I took a HPT yesterday and it was . After crying my eyes out (because I just "feel" pregnant - I should know better!), I decided that at this point I should probably induce my period so I can start over. I am on CD 40 and though I feel like I ovulated over two weeks ago: severely sore breasts, cramping, and my other typical post O symptoms, AF hasn't showed up yet. Is there anything that can help besides progesterone? I heard ginger can help, but I havent found much info on that...

Do you usually have to induce your period? If you ovulated, you should get your period on your own. If I were you, I would probably wait a few days and see if it starts on its own. You might have o'd a few days later than you thought.

I have to induce my period when I don't ovulate either with progesterone or BC and it takes anywhere from a week to 2 1/2 weeks depending on how thick my lining was. (If it's thick I do the progesterone- 5 days, if it's thin I have to do the BC- 2 1/2 weeks).
