Sorry to ask, as i'm sure you all have been asked this over 100 times, but where can I get a good price on prefolds and does anyplace have free or cheap shipping?

My friend is having a baby she she's going to CD! But they are having a lot of financial trouble, so I would like to be able to get the most PF and covers for the money. Some local mamas are donating some used ones too, which is good and they're happy to have used stuff too.

Any suggestions, or anythign else you think I should know? :LOL I'm going to try and make a prefold cake!

Her prefolds are reasonably priced and she also has a special right now, 3 free extra prefolds when you purchase a dozen.

I find granitesmith on eBay to have really cheap prefolds--$14 for a dozen infant CPFs. $5 shipping for the first dozen, $3 for each additional dozen.

Her snappis are also dirt cheap--$1.35 each.
zannadu has free shipping over $50, with a mothering.com code maybe? Or it might be a percentage off orders over so much. I can't remember. And she's got the indian prefolds, which I like best. She's got infant, regular (hard to find in indian), premiums, and toddlers -- discounted if you buy a dozen or more. She also has a prewash service available -- which I like because my washer doesn't seem to get hot enough to prewash the indian prefolds well.
sugarplumbaby is doing a prefold order - it's not free shipping, but the prefolds are wholesale prices - so that helps a lot!

here is the link to the coop, then you have to join the yahoo group and place your order in the database, it's closing on tuesday.

hth!
www.naturalbabies.com has a good price on prefolds and she only charges $3.95 for shipping no matter how much you order.

I second Zannadu. I have her prefolds and they are great and so cheap. She does have a coupon code.
