My baby is due soon and I bought an infantion slingrider and
was given a Baby Bjorn.
I really don't know much about slings/carriers and was hoping
some experienced moms could give me some advice about which
(if either) to use for a newborn.

I have the receipts for both so could take one or both back.

Thanks!! :)

The main problem with the Infantino is that many say they are uncomfortable and not the easiest to get on/baby into. However there are more that like the Bjorns.
For baby-neither is good for their back-since the baby essentially hangs in there- all their weight is on their lower back which is not physically recommended but I can't link you to any articles-someone else can I bet!
The Bjorns are good for older babies and lots like them so I'd keep that to try but would use my money from the other on a pouch or unpadded sling-you'll get more use out of it and you can wear baby in it from day one until they are a toddler!
My fave is www.hotslings.com
but check out the above reviews for more ideas.
