Everyone's body reacts differently to breastfeeding. And when to wean is such a personal decision, one that only you and your little girl can make together.
Some women never get af back until baby completely weans. Others' fertility returns right away. There is no cut-and-dried answer, but since you also have PCOS I would wonder how much it would help to wean?
I had two anovulatory cycles after I got af, then it took seven months to get pregnant. And my baby is still nursing (though not as often as yours).
33 is still young! You got plenty of time! Just make sure you don't do anything you'll regret later.
Maybe you could find some sort of happy medium? Like finding a way to distract your DD from nursing and cut back on the times each day that she nurses? I don't know, maybe some of the other moms here have some ideas.
