So far, in 9 months of frequent knitting, I've made tons of charity items, baby/child items, and presents for other adult friends. I've made myself ONE that's 1!) scarf and started a bag I never finished.

I'm ready to make something for me!

I'm vegan so no felted ideas, please!

I do have a bunch of yarns that I could probably adapt for ideas (some cotton, soy silk, soy/polypropylene, linen/cotton, hemp, etc.)

So far, I want to make the Racerback tank from Knitty, some fingerless gloves. But I do have several single skeins of handspun that I don't know what to do with.

Thanks!

Well, I think you should start by checking out the current issue of Magknits, the handspun issue.
Ever considered experimenting to see if bamboo felts? I hear rumours...

I also love the knitted bracelet kits that Earthfaire do, and I think there's room for exploration there, maybe DIYing it? You could make yourself a one skein wonder or a pair of gorgeous funky mittens.
Or socks. Or leg warmers. How cold are your autumns/winters??? That's probably the deciding factor, surely?
There's also a really cool pattern for a skinny, spiral scarf (perfect for annoying small people when they're nursing) which would go beautifully with a skein of handspun.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!

I've made Branching Out, and Although I have the yarn and pattern for unbiased (someone gave me the vegan sari stuff), it's not me at all.

I began a pair of socks yesterday (Broadripple from Knitty.com) and I love the idea of clapotis in soy silk, whcih I have several skeins of. I've also wanted to do a one skein wonder for a while but forgot about. So I've got several options now!
