I'm starting to make my biz plan now, and am looking into insurance. I'm not sure how much/what I need!

I'm making clothing, baby, mama clothing. I'm working on a diaper design and a cloth pad design. Nothing high risk, but I still feel I should protect my family.

Can anyone fill me in on what I should be looking for? The more specific I am the better coverage I'll end up with.

We don't have insurance, but when we registered our company we did so as a LLC (limited liability company.) This way if, God forbid, someone was to sure you or something, they can only sue you for the business part (your machines, etc.) and not your family. HTH!

We're an LLC too. It's really fairly easy to become an LLC, and like she said, if something happens, you can lose all of your business assests, but not things like your home. (That's assuming, of course that you don't list your home as a biz expense.
