This cracks me up...and it's nice that it is clearly intact.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76B4hG_wLJs

Since this a doll from Europe, it of course depicts baby boys as being intact. This video was on "The Soup" this past week. Thankfully, they made no mention of the doll's intactness as being bad or unusual (since I really like that show and would hate to boycott it for using any pro-circ "jokes"). The only inappropriate part is the people offended by the intact status of a doll!

On the one hand, I guess it's good to expose children to what the genitals of both sexes look like in a benign setting. On the other hand, does it really need to move and pee?

I love this baby. I would totally order one. My daughter is very perceptive and intelligent. She often remarks about the fact that her babies nave no penises or vaginas. I think it's more strange, in a way that baby dolls don't have anything.

I think it's neat to see anatomically correct dolls. That it pees doesn't bother me. That it moves when it pees doesn't bother me either. My 4 month old ds's penis becomes a bit upright when he pees too so I appreciate the realisitc nature of the peeing.

On a slightly related and funny note, I have a changing pad on the bathroom counter and while grabbing a wipe for ds's bottom, he started peeing and made a huge arc of urine that travelled about 14 inches right into the bathroom sink! Perfect place. I just laughed. After 2 girls, who knew a little dude could pee so far.

That's hilarious! Here's a second ad for the same type of doll: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZW_k05mntE&NR=1 It pees into a potty. I wonder how old it is supposed to be? Is this pro-EC in addition to being anti-circ?

I think it would be nice if all dolls were this realistic instead of always feeling the need to hide everything or paint it up in an unrealistic manner.

I agree. I think it's strange when dolls just have a plastic lump where their genitals should be :

There used to be a doll sold in the US that peed, I remember seeing the commercials and wanting one, so I can see the appeal of a peeing doll. I think the other doll just had a hole, no penis, I don't remember what it was called. It's no big secret to kids that the opposite sex has different looking genitals, I don't know why people are surprised by the idea.

My son has this doll which is anatomically correct and intact and pees -

http://www.cheekymonkeytoys.com/padrwetcodo.html

We bought it in the US, but it is made by a French company, I believe. He loved it!

I have been shopping for an anatomically correct baby boy doll for my ds as a sibling gift for when the new one arrives. Every single doll I've seen has the foreskin intact. I don't know if it's because they are supposed to represent newborns or if it's because they're all made overseas, but my feeling is
