Hi, I'm new to this board but I have been on the cloth diaper forums for a few months.
I have been a knitter for about five years. I am not an expert by any means at all and would like to make a soaker for my son. I've been looking at the Aubrey Doodlepants pattern and would like to give that a try. I've been experimenting with shortrows since my first attempt was terrible! However, I've been using Cascade 220 and I was wondering if anyone has used this to make a soaker? I have been using it single strand to reach gauge necessary but now I'm thinking I want to double it and make a thicker night time soaker. Just wanted some opinions on this. Thanks to you all for inspiring me to pick up my needles and knit again! I've been on hiatus since summer rolled around and I started using my new sewing machine. Now it's turning into fall here in S.E. Alaska and I want to knit some comfy clothes for DS.
