Hi all. I just found this group and I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm expecting my second son about October 17th. My first son is now two and was an attempted UC that ended at the hospital with all kinds of drugs BUT at least I delivered vaginally. Very dissapointing though. It was a very painful birth-- not the contractions but the back labor. Wasn't prepared for that at all. So this time, I am preparing. I just ordered the "Back Labor No More" book. We are going to go to our hospital's birth center which is midwife run and very progressive. We haven't the heart to try at home again, too many bad associations. And I am really excited about this birth center, they do waterbirth and hypnobirth and stuff. I think I want to have a doula this time too. I am really interested in the Hypnobabies homestudy package and am looking to order that soon.
Oh, also I am a SAHM, have been for a couple of years now. I love my little toddler and am so excited to have another one! I am not quite as crunchy a some of you, can't handle the cloth diaper thing. I can barely keep up with the laundry as it is, I don't know how you guys do that. We do the WAPF/NT diet which is pretty different and we do AP, no circ. My little son just turned two and is in the process of gradually weaning, he still nurses a bit at naptime and bedtime (usually). Nursing hurts now though.
Well that's about it I guess, looking forward to meeting you.
