Hi. I am new to this forum. My soon to be ex husband and I have een seperated for about month and reconcilaition is looking less and less likely everyday.
I have felt like a single parent for a lot of my daughters two years but never like a single person so this is a really huge adjustment for me. I am living with my sister and will have to begin the processing of going back to school to recieve a nursing degree.
It is very scary and hard and sad but also exciting and hopeful. Anyway, I am sure I will need tons and advice and inspiration form all you single mamas.
Welcome, you came to the right place for advice. A divorce is a hard thing to deal with. I know i am going through one but in the end we will be happier. Wishing you the best of luck. Great job for going back to school. I am going too.
We are a varied group of people with a ton of experience, knowledge and mostly support. We hope you feel comfortable here...cause we all need support when our marriages end.
Welcome to the board! There ARE good things about this journey. Maybe not a journey someone would willingly start to take, but the things you find out about yourself are very valuable! And it sounds like you've got some good things going for yourself: a goal, and the fact that you have supportive family. That's more than a lot have, so you're a step ahead! Best wishes as you progress!
