A little background information is probably in order, I guess.
My name is Amy and I'm a housewife from a very small town in North Texas. My husband's name is Peter and he is a volunteer firefighter training to become a full-time paid firefighter/emt (he just finished his emt portion of school and will take the national registry test soon). He grew up in the California Bay Area. We met online through a friend in 2000, and he decided to move here to be closer to me in September 2001. We married in July 2002.
About 6 weeks after our wedding day, I became pregnant and then miscarried at 9 weeks. I soon after got pregnant again and miscarried at 5 weeks. The miscarriages caused my cycles to become very irregular and I haven't been able to get pregnant since.
Trying to become pregnant has been an emotionally trying situation, but we don't want to give up. I decided to join this forum after a friend linked me to it. I've been mourning my lost children more than usual and was feeling a need to interact with some people in a similar situation to my own.
