Hi all... I've been responding to a bunch of threads here today... I've been around before, but not much, and it's been a while, so I thought I'd make a formal introduction.
I'm Wendi, 33, live in Northern California with my son Max, born October 8, 2001. My ex and I broke up before I found out I was pregnant, and although the breakup wasn't really meant to be, we just ended up going our separate ways. My ex has never met Max. He had no interest in being a father... well, not as a single person anyway... he had this strange notion that we should be married and have an "ideal" family, or nothing at all... so I allowed him to walk away and pretend none of it ever happened, and that's just what he did.
Max and I moved from San Francisco to the Sacramento area last year to live with my mom. I was able to be a SAHM for almost 2 years, and I just started working again part time, I only work Sat-Mon so I'm still almost a SAHM.
That's my short story... I'm looking forward to hanging around here more often and getting to know you all!!!
