Hello. Just wanted to introduce myself. My youngest son Jayden is now one year old so we are officially EBF. I look forward to coming to this board for EBF support as it is so hard to find. My husband fully supports EBF, but no one in my family or his understands, so this could become challenging.

Nice to be on this board and meet all of you EBF mamas.

Hello and Welcome. I am Marcia. I am still EBF Littlebit that is 3.7 years old. I know at times it can get pretty discouraging when people say bad things about EBF. I have a few in my family that are very far from being supportive. When they do say something to me I don't let it bother me anymore. Because I know I am doing what is the very best for my Littlebit.

Yeah I'm sure it can be hard. In fact I never even thought I would be one to EBF. Before my son was born I always said my goal was one year. in fact I was even one of those people to jokingly said "if he can ask to breastfeed, he's too old" But since I first started nursing him I can't imagine giving it up for anything! Now I say he has to clearly say he doesn't want to nurse anymore before I'll ever stop! So I was so happy to come across this forum to be able to get all kinds of support for EBF.
