I'm currently 34w3d with my third. She is very firmly head down and when I checked last was not ballatable (at least not that was noticeable).

My lower back is achy. It has been for about a week now and I have honestly thought to myself it seems similar to DD1's labour (which was all back labour). I'm pretending prodormal labour is not an option right now.

I know inversions can help with bad positioning but that's the case here. I just tried a short one and it did help relieve some of the achy pain in my back.

In late pregnancy are they ok to do when NOT being used for positioning? I know at some points inversions aren't recommended but I'm not sure when that is.

here is a page from Spinning Babies about inversions in later pregnancy. Read down the page, it's pretty interesting.

http://www.spinningbabies.com/techniques/the-inversion
