Anyone know of a pattern for a ipod where I can knit a whole for the screen and touch pad?

Or know how I can knit around the screen and stuff? I'm pretty new to knitting so I just can't seem to get this figured out.

Have you felted anything before? If you felt a swatch to get a size estimate, then make something like this http://www.wikihow.com/Knit-an-iPod-Cozy and felt it, then cut out the holes for the screen and touch pad.

There's also this
http://www.grumperina.com/ipodcozy.htm

I crocheted a couple of iPod covers with openings. I'm not still using them.

Good luck.

Knit a rectangle long enough to cover the back and the front up to where you want the hole to be. Then, knit to the side edge of the screen, bind off as many stitches cover the screen, and knit the other edge. Knit back and forth on the edge stitches, then put them on some waste yarn. Go back to the other edge and knit for the same length as the first edge. Cast-on enough stitches to go across the screen, and join with the yarn on the waste edge. Knit a few more rows, add a button loop or whatever you want to secure the ipod in, and sew up the sides.

(Does this make sense? )
