Irritated with DH

I belong to an AP group in the province that I live in and we were discussing about how important it is to take pictures of yourself nursing, because they grow up so fast.
So I got my self all cleaned up gave DS a bath and asked my DH to take our pictures. He was really uncomfortable.
He comented on how it's disgusting because DS is so "old" (14mos), and "why would I want pictures?" This is just his way of letting me know that he thinks it is time to wean. He thinks that once a baby is "walking and talking and able to pull down mom's shirt to get numms they are way too old." > I believed this as well before I started nursing, and realized the emotional aspect.
He says that our society makes it so that it is not common to see an older baby on thier mom's breast, and that is why he is so uncomfortable with it.
He is however all for EBF when DS is upset, sleepy or going down for a nap.
Have any of you mama's had resistance from your DH about EBF??
My DH feels that I don't respect his ideas, and I do, I just don't agree with them.
Thanks for the support, and please don't flame my hubby. He means well and is a wonderful father, he just has very different ideas because of my MIL...another story all together.
