I asked my MW and she was fine with most of the ingredients but hadn't heard of
Lonicera
Schizonepeta
Chinese Vitex

ANyone know about these herbs?
She said without knowing she wouldn't recommend it for early pregnancy but since I'm 7 months it was likely not a risk, but to research it first. So, I'm staring here with the wealth of knowledge on these boards!

I don't know about safety but the latest studies are showing it doesn't do much and is just a placebo effect . . . There is way more vitamin C in there than recommended for daily use (and that your body can absorb). I'd just keep taking normal vitamins and eating lots of fruits & veggies!

Hm. Do you have a link to the study showing its a placebo. It tastes so good it very well may be. I do find that it works for me. If it is a placebo, it just shows the power of positive thinking! Maybe I'll just switch to peanut butter cups!

It has echinacea which I've read is contraindicated in early pgcy, but should be fine later on. How much vitamin C is in it? We need way more than the "RDA" especially if fighting off illness.

My MW is a master herbalist and she says airborne is safe in the second and third trimesters.

I asked my ND and he said it had some questionable ingredients and to drink a couple glasses of carrot juice instead- which actually sounds really good!

You might search past threads as this has come up before, but in my case my doctor said no to Airborne and suggested Emergen-c instead
