I have morning sickness and I wanted to try b6 - I can't tolerate the ginger candy, it makes me feel worse. Peppermint tea works but I don't like how much it makes me need to pee. I haven't thrown up, but I have lost some weight already because I don't feel like eating anything.

Can I take the B6 while nursing? The midwife sheet recommends up to 200mg, but I have read stuff on the internet that you can't take it while nursing. My daughter is 3 if that makes a difference

It should be fine. Vitamin B6 is water soluble so you/she would just excrete the excess in your urine. Personally, I just took 50mg and that did the trick for me. I would work up to 200mg.

I have been taking B6 for luteal phase issues while breastfeeding my 2 year old. I take 100mg. I had no idea it helped with morning sickness (I'm 5 weeks and haven't had much nausea though...)
