I just bought some bio-kleen powder, the kind with citrus oil. I looked on the web and a few sites say not to use bio-kleen because it will leave a residue, especially on FBs. On other sites, I've seen it recommended. I am going to be washing prefolds, covers, and, eventually, FBs and microterry inserts. I still have the receipt so can return it easily for another brand.

Thoughts? I'd really like some brand recommendations and some brand NOs, especially for a front-loader. Thanks!!

I've been using it on all types of diapers (and clothes) but I want to make a HUGE caution...only use a little for diapers and rinse a couple times. My son's bum was ripped apart by bio-kleen residue because of the enzymes. If it's rinsed out really well, it does work great, but if not, it can have the potential to do a little skin damage...

I've used it on all kinds of diapers (from FB to prefolds to fitteds, etc.) with no problems. Just remember to use a lot less detergent than the box recommends so you don't have to strip your dipes. I've never had a problem with it. FWIW, I do an extra-long wash on hot with an extra rinse.
