Those on the east coast, are you ready for the hurricane???
I have dirty diapers in the wash now, and then next in line I have a dozen new premium cpfs in line to prime, just in case.
I have a small pkg of sposies, but I don't think we'll need them.

We are stocked with food and such and just waiting.

I'm in Maryland and the wind is picking up and the sky looks scary

Stay safe everyone!!!!!

doing all the dirties now, we're a little drippy and breezy here in NC triangle, and very dreary...we are totally covered with clouds I wanna go curl up under a blanket (we have windows open right now for fresh air gotta air out the house while we can) with a good trashy novel and some tea). DH just made some popcorn (we only do stove top method, much yummier that way), kids are either cleaning their room, watching sesame street, or eatting popcorn/feeding the dogs popcorn LOL. We're supposed to be breezy but not too bad so I'll just get to hear" i'm booooooooooooooored" all day long...kids go read a book LOL and Rich is wearing a pumpkin orange sweatshirt with his pumpkin orange dipe with little white ghosties carrying around an orange bowl ) how cute. Stay safe all in the line of wind/rain.

I went ahead and the last of the dirty dipes are in the washing machine now Figured better to be prepared right? I also went ahead and got an extra dozen prefolds the other day - okay maybe that was too much lol...but I could always use them anyway - Rob just kind of rolled his eyes at me but knew better than to make a comment hahaha. I'm expecting that most likely we will be without power for a bit - how long is anyones guess. But in case I'm without power for awhile, I don't want to have to worry about how I'm going to wash the diapers!

Hope everyone stays safe and this storm is short lived!

We are right in the path of the eye in already soggy central VA. I am going to shut down the computer and unplug in about 2 hours. They are telling us to expect power failure so if anyone wonders where I am I am probably knitting by candlelight... It is already windy and rainy here.... Dh is coming home from NC but won't get here until about 4 so he gets to drive in this

Hope everyone stays safe.

I'm in central PA (Huntingdon county).

We are looking at getting up to 5-6 inches of rain and wind gusts around 60 MPH here.
My sister who lives in the county below mine is expecting 9 inches of rain.
Yesteraday FEMA said that they are expecting the local river to crest at 3-5 feet above flood stage.
All emergency management personnel are on stand-by at the moment.

The sky is dark with thick gray clouds and a moderate breeze at the moment.
It's getting colder by the hour...I think it's around 50 degrees right now.

Isabel is expected to hit us around midnite tonite.
The "eye" will pass us a little too close for comfort.

We have brought all the boys' toys in from outside and all windows are locked down.

I just washed a load of dipes this morning, so I'm good there.

I made a trip to the grocery store this morning (had to do some grocery shopping anyway), so we have lots of food.

Wishing all fellow East Coast Mamas good luck!

As ready as I can be -- I had the same thought as the rest of you -- WASH AND DRY THE DIAPERS!

(Forget sandbags -- does my kid have an adorable diaper to wear?! )
