Since some of us are starting to find out, let's do a poll!

I'm actually desperate to know this pregnancy, but we won't find out again. Part of the reason is we have no health insurance and can't afford an ultrasound unless there's a good reason.
I'm dying to know, but we're waiting until the birth. We are having one u/s in a couple of weeks. I'm tempted to peek, I would be able to tell what we're having I ws really good at it when we were finding out with the twins (surrogacy). I won't though. I do think that we are having a girl. I was right with DD, but who knows if I'm right this time

We won't know until the baby's here. It's my 6 year old's job to look and announce it. She is soooo excited about that job.

I do have to admit that I am way more tempted to find out this time around for some reason.

We're waiting too - all the surprises I've had lately have not been so good but this is a surprise I will be happy with whoever arrives!
Technically I'm not waiting until the birth.
But I know it's a girl.

Its my 6YO's job to announce it too, but she won't be there at the birth, so we're letting her announce it at the U/S on May 1st.

Both DDs want sisters though...because they don't want me to have to repaint the room where they baby will be (its pink now
). I suspect however that they think its a brother as they both have slipped and said that's what "squishy" is. ODD was right about YDD's gender. Me, I don't care either way...believe it or not.

It's my 5y/o's job to announce the gender at the birth also! It's one of the things I'm looking forward to the most about having a home birth
That and that DH will be catching the baby

Me too gsmama2! My little dd's job is to have the blanket and hat ready and help put those on the baby. Both girls want to help cut the cord with daddy.

My girls want a baby brother so much! Actually, the younger one wants b/g twins. She doesn't quite "get" it that you don't get to order the baby/babies.

UP/UC so no ultrasound here... We're all predicting boy though

Girl.....found out today...course how sure can they be? I think it was pretty accurate it looked like little labia lips to me, tho the tech wasn't really into explaining anything so....

Well its nice to know finally. some days it felt girl, other days boy, some myths say girl, many were overwhelminly boy, some days i hardly felt pg!! it was a roller coaster!!
We'll be waiting till the birth as well, but I really wish I knew

It's another boy for us!

I had an emergency ultrasound done to check for Gallstones (they didn't find any, so they diagnosed me with an Ulcer instead, blah). During the ultrasound the tech felt compelled to check up on the baby, and to spill the beans.

I was pretty sure that we were expecting another boy because the only names we had chosen were for girls - it was the same story with DS1. Although we had planned on waiting until birth, seeing DH beam because he saw the dangly parts was worth spoiling it.
we found out we will be having a boy. this is our 5th child so I really only cared about a healthy baby, but the boys of the house are thrilled!
