Hopefully I'm not the only one, but we got to see and hear our baby's heartbeat back at 7wks 5days and it was amazing, and our next OB appt is not until next week at almost 13 weeks (we saw the nurse at 10wks but it was just a quick meeting to give us all the info on future appts and the hospital info stuff like that). I have been feeling really good other than tired a lot. No MS or really anything else, but it's also too early to feel any movement. So I'm going a little crazy not knowing if everything is ok! I've not had any spotting or cramping or any reason to think it's not going perfect but I guess it's just 1st pregnancy jitters!

Just needed to vent my frustrations and let you all know I'm counting down the days until the 30th when I get to see my OB again!

I totally understand. My first MW appointment was at 8 weeks and we didn't attempt to hear a heartbeat. I haven't had any ultrasounds and won't except maybe one at 20 weeks to check for placenta location and any obvious problems. So other than a slightly growing midsection and morning sickness that has (thankfully) subsided in the last week, I don't feel like there is any "proof" that there is indeed a baby in there. It's been a long wait between my 8 week appointment and the next one, but I only have 2 days to go before I can finally *hopefully* hear a heartbeat and maybe finally feel a little relief that everything is progressing normally.

if i didnt have MS id be right there with u we didnt get to hear the HB but we got to see it flicker on the US! and 4weeks till my next apmt it seems like FOREVER! and im hoeing that we have ut 12week NT scan and maybe they can tell us the sex!

deny, yes, I am feeling the same way. Wondering if everything is still OK in there, even though we saw a heartbeat on u/s at 6w5d. I have to wait one more week for my next appointment. yep. *twiddling thumbs*

I am right there with you, but I never had a U/S, so I really have no clue what is going on. I'm just trying to trust in my body and remain calm

I am dying to hear a heartbeat. I'm 11 weeks 2 days. But 2 days ago I was sure I felt the baby move...and suddenly I felt very confident about the babe inside! Still, hearing a heartbeat would be nice

I heard the heartbeat yesterday! I asked my CNM if we could try to hear it with the doppler even though I'm only 9 wks, and she found it. I know I'll still be antsy to hear it again in another few weeks at my first MW appt.
