I love DPN's. I find that the first couple of rows are really testy and I have to pay close attention, but after that its easy. I prefer them over circulars because I have so much more control and when the pattern calls for me to switch to dpn's (as for hats), I feel one step ahead. Plus I look totally cool when I knit with them
