Is it just me?

Mine is too, and just turned 16. He is a little more intense now that he is so hormonal, but other than that, he is pretty cool! He was pretty laid back as a baby. Nothing bothered him...

I think UC parents tend to be more laid back in general and perhaps that contributes? My first UC kid: sometimes laid back, sometimes totally nutso. But, she's only two. It goes with the territory. My second UC kids is suuuuuper laid back. But, she still just 4 months old, so I've got lots of time to *screw her up* (just kidding). :LOL

i havean interesting comparison here. My dd1 Sara-hospital birth. Every photo of her right after birth she was crying. Crying when born, crying under the fryer lamps, crying at the first bath, crying crying crying. We assumed it was normal.
Then dd2- Sydney? coughed once born, squeaked, blinked, looked around, nursed. Took an herbal bath w/mom peacefully, and slept like a champ.
I can only attribute it to the method of birth.

Now she is 8 months old. Cool as a cucumber. She only gets really riled up when Sara plays with her. We were at a party on Sunday with my whole family, and everyone said, what a peaceful baby.
Sara, at 28 months is a bull in a china shop- but I think that's just her way. She does beat on Sydney...
Sometimes I kick myself for not having a clue sooner about UC, ya know, for Sara's sake?

well my first uc is a pretty laid back kid, 2nd is wound up like a swiss watch, 3rd is somewhere inbetween. lol
