Good Morning........Ok I am almost positive I o'ed on cd14 or cd15. I had extremely stretchy CM and my sex drive was way up. I did have temps on FF and they even looked like that could have been my day, but I had to discard my temps because my thermometer was not working properly. Using my other thermometer my temps were a little higher. But now my temps are so low I do not think I could have ovulated yet because aren't they supposed to be higher until AF comes again? with the switching thermometers and getting different readings on them, there's no telling for this month. as far as your temps now. temps can vary depending on the person, but yes, those would be considered really low for post-o temps. plus, you've had 2 days at least of fertile mucous since the day you thought you o'd, so going by this info we have, i'm gonna say you havent o'd yet, that likely you geared up and didnt, but i could be wrong, it's hard to tell right now. you are temping carefully, right? under your tongue, in the same spot, with your tongue down and your mouth closed? do you mouth breathe when you sleep? if so, im not sure i would trust your new therm, esp if you had temps more in the expected range with the other therm.<br><br>
ok, here's what I would do if i were you- just me talkin, but here's what i would do. 1. get a new bbt therm. 2. discard all my temps and start fresh temping vag. 3. keep doing opks anytime you have fertile cm or good cp- check cp if you arent, and cm everyday, it's good info. i would do this because i THINK you havent o'd, given the two therms and all the discards already, this chart isnt likely to tell you anything as it is, and/or something is off with your temping now, and if you start new and you havent o'd, you still might end up having a perfectly clear chart with a late-ish o.

I do temp in the exact same spot in my mouth and I do not sleep with my mouth open. We keep our room a very chilly 60 degrees at night because I get hot really easily. This thermometer is brand new and seems to be working good(we tested it on my hubby). I will keep OPKing and checking CM maybe I do still have a chance for this month. I do remember last time I charted with DD my temps were lower than everyone elses but I didn't think it was this low so you are most likely right and I havent O'ed yet.<br><br>

Ok, so I decided to check my temp now on the BBT to compare it to our expensive digital ear thermometer(that I use for my toddler and hubby) my BBT thermometer says 97.76 this is as close to the hot spot I can get in my mouth and the ear thermometer says 98. Keep in mind I have been up for over an hour and I just finished a cup of coffee............of course mouth has already cooled down from it. So even if my thermometer is a little off wouldnt it still show shifts in temps?<br><br>
Maybe my temp is just really low all the time?? And I have not o'ed yet?? What do you think. I would hate to buy another thermometer my husband already thinks I am crazy.

Presuming the temps you have left on there are accurate, i'd say there is no O yet. And with no other history of charts there isn't a way to tell what teh norm O day is for you? How long is your total cycle usually?<br>
I say keep DTD and watch for more fertile CM presuming no O and start fresh (hopefully you won't need to!) for the next chart with working "equipment". <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> Good Luck!

Thanks HulaJenn I do not have normal cycles and have never had one in my lifetime. My doc is going to start me on metformin today so maybe that will help. If I had to guess on an average cycle I would say 4 months long??? I have PCOS so nothing is normal for me. I agree with I think I have not O'ed yet but I was hoping after having DD and being on mirena for 3 years maybe I was one of the lucky ones who would have a few normal cycles for a change. Oh well, thanks so much for taking a look and taking time to answer my thread. I will keep OPKing and checking CM.

awesome about the metformin. and dont worry that it's too late to start fresh with vag temping now. you are less than a month into it. if your cycles are normally that long, dont worry about that- you absolutely do not need to temp from cd1. all you need is at least a solid handful of temps before o so that you can see the shift anyway.
